Seta Canyon

Seta Canyon

Located in the middle section of the Setë, a branch of the Black Drin River, at 700 meters above sea level. The canyon is comprised of limestone and was formed by the erosive activity of the river. It is about 1.5 kilometers long, 150 meters deep, and about 4-7 meters wide.

Seta Canyon is one of Albania’s most stunning natural wonders, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful retreat into nature. Carved by the Seta River over thousands of years, the canyon features dramatic rock formations, crystal-clear waters, and lush greenery that surround visitors with unspoiled beauty.

Ideal for hiking, canyoning, and photography, the area is a favorite for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The narrow paths, natural pools, and towering cliffs provide a unique experience for those looking to explore off the beaten path. In spring and summer, the vibrant landscape is especially picturesque, and local guides are available to offer insights into the area’s geology and folklore.

Seta Canyon remains relatively untouched by mass tourism, making it a perfect destination for travelers seeking authenticity and tranquility in Albania’s wild north.
